I will not only teach you English, but I’ll teach you how to move and think like a native speaker. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Brown University, as well as a Masters degree in Applied Theatre from The City University of New York. My thesis in graduate school focused on how to teach Non-English speakers how to create Theatre in English.

I taught Art History and Applied Theatre at Touro College in New York City, where the majority of my students spoke English as a second language.

I worked as an actress for years before opening my private coaching company where I worked with clients on using language, breath and movement to convey meaning in their dramatic work. It is with this kind of training and expertise that I tailor each of my sessions to my client’s needs to help them express themselves in English effectively and naturally.

I speak three languages (in addition to being a native English speaker, I also speak Spanish and Japanese) and have traveled extensively. I understand how Americans speak, think, and move differently than the rest of the world and teach my clients how to take those differences into account as they learn English.
